About

My Story of Life Transformation
My story of life transformation spans decades. It begins in childhood and reaches fulfillment decades later. It shows how you can make the Journey to a dream that is daunting by achieving small, easier goals along the way. This makes the Journey purposeful and rewarding, and keeps you moving forward because you know you can carry out each small step.
My personal dream was to travel to ancient sites and hike about the ruins. But I had a physical disability that made walking difficult, painful and risky. So I set a Big Vision to cure the disability and get to my dream. Then I just kept aiming for the next step on the path. The path kept changing, so I kept creating new ways to adapt. I became a master at adapting and achieving life-altering changes one step at a time.
The result was that I travelled to 60 plus destinations in over 20 countries and hiked about many ancient ruins.
The Journey was full of set-backs, but I used creativity to turn them into gains. And that made achieving the Big Vision so much more satisfying.
Here I am in Machu Picchu, Peru on the path to the Inca Bridge.
My Story of Business Transformation
Sometimes, you stumble upon your path. I was a consummate creator from early on. Then, I stepped into an administrative role that let me apply my creative skills to a business venture, and I increased its performance by multiples. As a result, I received many requests for similar work and found myself with a consulting practice. Most important, I found a field of work that enabled me to use and grow my creativity.
Over time, I added many experiences — transforming businesses, public services, and communities. I was the founding head of operations building an economic sector in science and technology. I guided a multi-institution collaboration to award-winning innovation in education. These initiatives had not been done before. They required creativity — and the ability to enable that in others — to achieve success.
So I found myself using creativity in my work, by applying the methods I had honed in art to a business canvas.
I used each experience to test and refine Vision and Journey® until it became an easy method for transformation. Eventually, there was nothing more to refine. Then I began to build this Vision and Journey® Library.
In my mentoring videos, I use the apps, examples from the story, illustrations and other resources from the Vision and Journey® Library to help you understand and absorb the lesson. The apps do not just record your notes — they train your creative skills every time you use them, and the fiction story helps you gain insights into the emotions and personal growth that always go with a transformation.

My Story of World Transformation
Sometimes, the path is laid out for you, and you must decide if it leads where you want to go. In my case, the path was a series of rare transformation initiatives over a twenty year span, all of which were a microcosm of world transformation.
As I finished one, the next would arise. With each, I would learn more about what it takes to transform into a better world. Over time, my knowledge and insight evolved, until one day the path needed to create a better world became clear.
Creating a better world does not happen in a big bang. It happens in layers, with time between each layer to let the changes settle into place. While they settle, you learn from it, review the goals, perspective and so on, and then reset your Compass.
So transformation is simply your managed evolution from layer to layer of your better world.
You can only see so far ahead, so you cannot see each layer until it is close. Then you must apply Creative Flow to make sure the layers work as one.
This continues, until you have the better world you want.
Sometimes, the path goes beyond your initial goal, and you must decide if you will stay on the path or finish the Journey. In my case, I had a huge inspiration one day that showed me what a better world should look like for humanity. I called it The Creator’s world, because it builds upon the creative genius that all humanity is born with.
The inspiration was so inspiring, moving and consistent with who we are born to be that I stayed on the path. If the opportunity arises, I want to bring about the Creator’s world. Perhaps it could start with evolving a Model County somewhere, just like in the Story. That would be a big initiative, but realistic. Should that happen, I hope you will join me.
